Last updated: June 2026. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of destinationunpacked.com and participation in our monthly iPad giveaway.

1. Website Use

By accessing destinationunpacked.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time — continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Monthly iPad Giveaway — Full Terms

2.1 The Promotion

Bali Unpacked runs a monthly iPad giveaway (“the Promotion”). One winner is selected at random each calendar month from all valid entries received during that month. A “month” runs from 00:00 on the 1st to 23:59 on the last day of the month (Bali time, WITA, UTC+8).

2.2 Eligibility

  • Open to natural persons aged 18 years or older at the time of entry
  • Worldwide entries accepted, void where prohibited by local law
  • One entry per person per calendar month (duplicate entries will be removed)
  • Employees, contractors and immediate family members of Bali Unpacked and Destination Unpacked are not eligible
  • Entries must be genuine — use of bots, scripts or automated entry methods will result in disqualification

2.3 How to Enter

Submit your email address via the entry form on the Bali Unpacked homepage (destinationunpacked.com). By submitting your entry, you confirm that: (a) you are 18 or older; (b) you agree to receive the Bali Unpacked newsletter; (c) you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2.4 The Prize

One (1) Apple iPad per month. The specific model will be the current standard iPad (Wi-Fi model, base storage) available at the time of the draw, approximate retail value USD $329. Bali Unpacked reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the specified model becomes unavailable. The prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent is offered.

2.5 Winner Selection & Notification

Winners are selected by random electronic draw conducted within 7 days of each calendar month end. The winner will be notified by email to the address used for entry. Winners must respond to confirm acceptance and provide a valid postal delivery address within 14 days of notification. Failure to respond within 14 days will result in forfeiture and a new winner will be drawn.

2.6 Prize Delivery

Prizes are dispatched within 14 days of winner confirmation. Delivery is via tracked international courier. Estimated delivery times: Australia/NZ 5–10 business days; Asia 3–7 business days; Europe/Americas 7–15 business days. Bali Unpacked is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services or incorrect delivery addresses provided by the winner. Import duties and taxes, if applicable in the winner’s country, are the winner’s responsibility.

2.7 Publicity

Winners may be asked to confirm their first name and country for publication on our website and social media. Full names, addresses and other identifying information will never be published without explicit consent.

2.8 General Conditions

Bali Unpacked’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Bali Unpacked reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion at any time with reasonable notice. This Promotion is operated independently by Destination Unpacked / Bali Unpacked and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, administered by, sponsored by or associated with Apple Inc. in any way.

3. Newsletter

By subscribing to the Bali Unpacked newsletter, you consent to receive periodic email communications including travel tips, guide updates, expat resources and occasional promotional content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Unsubscribing will also remove you from future giveaway draws.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on destinationunpacked.com — including text, images, layout and code — is owned by or licensed to Destination Unpacked unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

5. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
